Diamond cut floor marking is the most durable and longest-lasting warehouse floor marking preparation method available. By recessing the markings into the concrete slab itself, the finished lines are far better protected against operational traffic and general wear, making diamond cut the preferred choice for high-traffic arehouse and distribution environments.

The process involves using specialist diamond-cutting machinery to remove around 2–4mm of the concrete slab, creating a recessed channel into which the markings are applied. The recess is then infilled with a high-build two-part epoxy, sitting flush with the existing slab surface for a clean, professional finish.

Because the markings sit within the slab rather than on top of it, they are far less vulnerable to damage from forklift traffic, pallet movement and general warehouse operations. Unlike surface-applied systems, diamond cut lines are not prone to lifting, peeling or wearing away — reducing the need for costly remedial works over time.
